Apparently Musk has assigned the task of developing his ultra fast mass transit system to Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc. HTT is operating under JumpStartFund and is relying on crowdsourcing and crowdfunding not only to raise the needed funds but to pool resources from other companies for computer simulations, development and design. It seems the end goal of the project is a 1/10th working scale model.
